This makes so much sense, it's scary.

Owning and using a trailer seems like a good idea until you get one. Then reality sets in. First, you have to register and insure it. Then, you have to find a place to store it. When you want to use it, you have to take time away from your business to get it, because the trailer storage yard closes too early. Then you bring it home, load your tools, tires, spare parts, and, finally, the car. Now that you are good and tired, tow the trailer through LA rush hour traffic. You arrive at the track tired and stressed.

When you are done racing, load everything back up, and bring it back home, again fighting the hordes of other weekend warriors clogging up late afternoon LA Sunday traffic. Get home, unload the car, the tools, the spares, etc., in the dark, because it's late. Too late to take the trailer back to storage. You can do that Monday morning, when you should be working. Discussing trailer maintenance, roadside repairs, and accidents (or near misses) is too gruesome, so we won't.

That's no fun!

Vision Motorsports saw a need, and we got to work. First, we bought a Peterbuilt tractor and race trailer. We then tore into the trailer, and made it into what we wanted a support trailer to have; miles of workbench space, dozens of drawers for storing spare parts and tools. Secure tiedowns for 6 cars, and a lift that doubles as a service bay. An air compressor sits atop the trailer, supplying an endless supply of compressed air and AC power. Then we raided our parts department, and loaded it with all the spare parts you need. Packed the rest of the space with tires, and still left room for 6 cars.

A quick phone call reserves your spot on the trailer, and we can even pick up your car from your own garage. We load it, secure it, and drive it to the track. On race day, you drive up in your street car and we unload it, prep it, and if you break it, we fix it! Because trackside support is included!

And as you can see in the picture below, we *really* support our drivers. If you need serious work done, we do it!

As the west coast's leading Pirelli racing tire seller, we also bring a goodly supply of tires to the track, so our drivers need never worry about that, either! Vision can also coordinate purchase and trackside delivery of 55 gallon drums of racing fuel for you. No more paying inflated prices at the track!

At the end of the day, you drive home, and we tow the race car back for you! Nothing could be easier, and it makes more sense, logistically, and financially, than owning a trailer.

And even if you do own a trailer, you can use our service for those far away events like Thunderhill, Sears Point, Phoenix, or Laguna Seca. The time you save by not having to take two entire days off will more than pay for it, not to mention the convenience. And having Vision's trackside support can make the difference between wasting a weekend with a broken car and racing with your buddies!
